Small Steps Early Intervention Program Starts at the Autism Research Center!

03.12.2018

Trainings were started with 13 volunteer students from the Psychological Counseling Department for the implementation of the Small Steps Program, a home-centered early intervention program for children aged 0-6 with developmental disabilites. After the training, which will last about 4 weeks, the volunteer students will start to follow the babies with Down syndrome between the ages of 0-2 at home. Home guides will both follow the development of babies and teach families to use the Small Steps Early Intervention Program. On a weekly basis, the entire team will be supervised by Dr. Ertan Görgü.
